2. From the Windows 95 desktop, double-click the My Computer icon.
3. Double-click the icon representing your CD-ROM drive.
4. Double-click the icon titled SETUP.EXE to run the installation program.
5. The installation program creates a program group with the book's name as the group name. This group contains icons to browse the CD-ROM.
Note If Windows 95 is installed on your computer and you have the AutoPlay feature enabled, the SETUP.EXE program starts automatically when you insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
This CD-ROM contains the Microsoft Visual Basic® Control Creation Edition. Some of the features of Visual Basic 5 discussed in this book might not be usable with the Control Creation Edition. The Control Creation Edition is provided to allow you to become familiar with the Visual Basic environment and to create your own ActiveX controls.
The following are the minimum system requirements for the Visual Basic Control Creation Edition:
A personal computer with a 486 or higher processor
Microsoft Windows 95 or Windows NT Workstation 4.0 or higher
8MB of memory (12MB recommended) if running Windows NT Workstation
